1. What services will you provide?

Business Impulse, Inc. offers complete Web Site Design, Web Hosting, Web Site Back Up, along with a Secure Firewall Server. Our company provides total site administrative management with a client option in receiving superior training and support for eventual self-administration and maintenance management. In addition, we have the ability to offer our customers retail values of complete system hardware packages, system accessories, and computer upgradeable components.

2. Will you host the web site or can we?

Both. Although it is recommended that initial start up be hosted by the contract awarded administrative provider. Client administration may be acquired from appropriate training, which will allow you the ability to host your own site on your own server.

a. What does hosting the web site entail?

Complete site monitoring with confirmation of site back ups. Knowledge of secure server space, server administration and maintaining a 99.9% up time availability. The client is capable of storage up to 50 Meg with unlimited data bandwidth transfers. Ensuring 24/7 availability for rapid uploads and downloads of site content.

b. What is your monthly hosting fee?

The cost for up to 50 Meg of storage is set at a monthly rate of $25.00 plus a one time domain setup fee of $50.00 (NOTE: If the client chooses to pay yearly in advance for Web Hosting the $50.00 setup fee is waived). Storage usage over the initial 50 Meg is an additional cost of $1.00 per Meg per each monthly period.

3. Will we have the ability to perform minor maintenance on the site
        or do you have to do all the changes?

Yes, with little instruction and the proper software, self-knowledge can be obtained through training.

a. If we can do the maintenance, do you provide training?

Yes, this service can be provided to all web site customers. Hourly fees do apply.

b. Will we have the ability to self-administer the whole site or just
    selected parts?

Yes, we can provide in-depth training to our clients enabling them the capabilities of self-maintaining their sites.

c. Can two people perform minor maintenance on the site?

Site start up will require initial technical host monitoring from the contracted administrator. Again with providing specific training to individuals within your organization, clients are able to self-administrate their sites. It is recommended that one person be charged with site maintenance or changes to avoid duplicate or overwriting existing web content.

4. Can you link our site to search engines?

Yes. Your site URL can be submitted to many major search engines. For additional fees, site submission can be uploaded by third party sources, which can be registered with over 200 available search engines.

5. Do you provide us with the ability to conduct public opinion polls?

Yes. This is offered as an added option and may be changed by the administrator as frequently as needed.

6. Will you provide our users the ability to download various
         forms from the web site?

Your site can be designed to offer you this custom feature with a multiple of formats.  Example: PDF, XLS, DOC

7. Can we use our own server?

Yes. Customers are able to provide their own severs for web hosting. For appropriate client requirements and development needs, the server will require all technology be in place.

8. Will we have the ability to insert photos and change them as
        required? Will you do this or can we?

Both. With adequate training, the ability to make needed text or graphic changes can be done by any trained personnel very easily.

9. Can we add hyperlinks when they become available?

Yes. At anytime you will have the capabilities to add hyperlinks to your site or have other sites link back to yours.

10. Is it common to charge for links to web pages?

There are a few ways to answer this question properly.  Banner Advertising is a way of generating revenue from your site by advertising other web sites on yours.  In some cases you may choose to insert News or Sports pages into your main page. Some of these services are FREE while others charge a fee for the code link. 

11. How often should the page be upgraded?

As per the customers discretion of needed change of information and site design. This could be a daily, weekly or monthly task depending on the site content or objective.

12. Do you have a pre-developed format or do you design to the
          client’s specifications?

Business Impulse, Inc. specializes in specific client specifications. Each customer requirement is varied. Therefore, we encourage client involvement with page design to help ensure all required information is in place for their site needs.

13. What is your hourly charge for consultation and maintenance?

Initial basic web design, graphic layout and any training for self administered sites is at a rate of $60.00 per hour. Sites requiring custom scripting and detailed languages other then HTML, such as Pearl, ASP, CGI Scripting or the access of backend Access database usage are quoted per custom request at a rate of $90.00-$150.00 per hour.

a. Do you bill quarterly, semi-annually, or annually for maintenance?

Normal billing requirements are set at Net 30. Quarterly billing cycle requests may be arranged prior to contract award.

14. What are your initial set up charges?

Business Impulse, Inc. does not require initial set up charges for the site. Billing begins when actual site building, client training and development initiates. Please NOTE: A $50.00 setup fee for the client domain does apply if the client chooses the monthly billing option for web hosting, this fee is waived if the client pays for web hosting one (1) year in advance and the yearly hosting fee is also discounted by 10 percent.

With the development of our own actual business site, www.businessimpulse.com, we have various other web sites we have designed and host with customer satisfaction. 16. Will you research and register the domain name as part of the
          initial agreement or is there an additional charge for this service?

There are no charges for domain name research and registration. This is a service we provide to our customers as part of the development to their site.
